It is clear that the Panthers are looking for a midfielder and many expect owner David Tepper to be actively looking for one this season.

This is a positive step up the board, but they clearly have a midfield prospect they want.

1st overall favorite is Bryce Young of Alabama but there are cases made for CJ Stroud and possibly even Anthony Richardson.

Meanwhile, the Bears and GM Ryan Poles have made it clear that they are open to business on the #1 pick and are open to making a deal now if a team makes the right offer on the table.

Some have suggested that Chicago may have stepped back a few times to maximize picks, but reports say they're really into Moore and want to put him on their roster before free agency. .

Moore, 25, was previously a first-round pick of the Panthers in 2018. He was entering the fourth year of his $11,171,316 four-way deal with Carolina when they picked his fifth pick. last year worth $11.16 million fully guaranteed by 2022.

From there, Moore agreed to a three-year, $61.884 million extension with $41.61 million fully guaranteed.

In 2022, Moore appeared in all 17 games for the Panthers and caught 63 passes from 888 yards and seven touchdowns.
